Lorraine Kay

Lorraine has extensive experience of leadership and organisational development within the financial services, publishing and public sectors. Her work has encompassed medium to large scale organisational and cultural change initiatives as well as individual and team leadership development from entry to board level. She is a successful business leader and coach who combines a pragmatic, outcome focused approach with an energetic and inspiring personal style in coaching others to achieve their aims.

Her clients have typically achieved a high level of success in their professional lives and are experiencing a challenge where either their usual approaches are not working for them or the transition they are going through is pushing the limits of their experience. They are looking for a confidential space to have time to think and ‘tap into themselves’ and access the resources needed to help them achieve their goals. Lorraine challenges them to articulate and maintain focus on what they want to achieve, consider what may be holding them back and to take action for success.

In addition to her coaching, Lorraine also mentors new leaders and supports the development of other coaches. She believes the role of the coach is to support an individual on their unique journey. Lorraine draws on her professional and personal life experience of building relationships with a diverse range of people, to quickly build rapport and trust with those she coaches. She’s not influenced by one particular coaching approach but draws on a number to support her practice. Lorraine has a non-directive style and a facilitative approach to helping her clients articulate what they want to achieve out of their coaching journey.
