A coach since 2008 with many thousands of hours coaching senior leaders, boards and top teams across the world to deepen trust, accountability and high-quality thinking, Richard also work with leaders on their presence and purpose: a Major-General to find a courageous new direction, a first-time CEO to transform their business.

Richard coaches senior leaders and leadership teams in financial and professional services, government, the judiciary, media and across industry. Clients include: HSBC, Barclays, Mastercard, McKinsey, Warner Bros, Cabinet Office, Nike, Siemens, ServiceNow, BT, Sky, Xylem, the Centre for Entrepreneurs and the global WPP advertising group.

Accredited to the Association of Coaching’s top-tier as a Fellow Executive Coach, Richard was previously a film director and screenwriter, directed a Hollywood western and won fifteen international film awards. Later, as Broadcast Strategist to government departments, he contracted commercial deals and advised the Cabinet Minister for Innovation on raising the public profile of science. A Chair and trustee of suicide prevention charities, Richard is a UKCP registered psychotherapist and is Hogan Advanced and Leadership Circle profile certified.
