Lorna Clarke

Lorna supports leaders as they prepare for and navigate leadership and life transitions, helping them move boldly and confidently towards the outcomes they want. She helps clients gain clarity, new perspectives and a deeper understanding of themselves so they can lead with greater enjoyment and ease.

Lorna believes that, as humans, we are innately capable, creative and resilient – even if that may not be how we are currently feeling. She works with people to connect more fully to who they are and what’s important to them now, rather than who they think they should be.

Her style is encouraging and warm, creating the conditions for honest reflection, thoughtful challenge and deeper understanding that enables lasting, meaningful change. The coaching is jointly developed with each person, drawing on whatever is most useful in achieving their desired outcomes, including feedback, psychometrics, observation and coaching tools.

She works with leaders at all levels, from aspiring leaders to CEOs, across sectors including professional services, start-ups and the public and not-for-profit sectors. Her clients have included JLR, Deloitte, Innovate UK, the NHS, Plymouth Community Homes and SARSAS.

Before becoming a coach, Lorna held senior leadership roles in professional services, the not-for-profit sector and start-ups. Her interest in coaching began in 2004 when she worked with an executive coach ahead of promotion into a senior leadership role within a global professional services firm. That experience sparked her interest in human potential, what makes for great leadership, and how people can lead authentically and sustainably.

She holds a Post-Graduate Certificate in Business and Personal Coaching from the University of Chester (Distinction) and is an ICF Professional Certified Coach. Her work is shaped by accreditation in RocheMartin Emotional Capital Report and training in Systemic Coaching & Constellations, The Grief Recovery Method and Time to Think™.

“Lorna has helped me personally and professionally, enabling me to be a better leader and more effective in my role. As a result, I have been able to implement sustainable change in many areas of my life and career.”

Tara Lacey, Transformation Lead, Health Education England

“I had been in my first CEO role for a year when Lorna and I met and was struggling with daily imposter syndrome, wanting to do the best job for my team and organisation but not really believing that I could. I cannot stress enough how helpful and empowering I have found it working with Lorna.”
