Hamid Tavassoly

Hamid is an executive coach who works with leaders at all levels – from first-time managers to CEOs – to become more effective, confident and fulfilled in their roles. He combines deep insight with a highly personalised, development-focused approach to help clients achieve both personal and organisational outcomes.

Through thoughtful questioning and reflection, he helps clients gain new perspectives and find effective ways to achieve outcomes that matter to them, often leading to increased confidence, clarity and fulfilment.

Hamid tailors his coaching to each individual, designing bespoke programmes aligned to their goals and development needs. He draws on a wide range of models and disciplines, including organisational behaviour, leadership development, neuroscience, personality theory, group dynamics and systems thinking.

Clients often work with him on areas such as leadership presence and impact, career transition, confidence and imposter phenomenon, navigating conflict, defining values and purpose, and building resilience. His coaching supports clients to develop deeper self-awareness, address limiting patterns and strengthen their effectiveness at work and beyond.

Hamid works with senior leaders, executives and high-potential talent across a range of sectors, including financial services, government, healthcare and professional services. His clients include organisations such as Citi Bank, Standard Bank, KPMG, De Beers, the NHS, Save the Children and the European Banking Authority, as well as multiple UK government departments.

He began his career as a civil engineer, working on large-scale infrastructure projects before discovering his passion for coaching through his MBA research into knowledge transfer and interpersonal effectiveness.

Hamid holds an MA in Executive Coaching and a Masters in Professional Coaching, alongside an Executive MBA from Imperial College London. He is accredited at EMCC Master Practitioner level and holds qualifications in coaching supervision, systemic team coaching and organisational development. Hamid is also accredited in a wide range of psychometric tools, including MBTI, Hogan, Lumina and FIRO-B, and works as a coach and supervisor, supporting both leaders and fellow coaches.
