Jane brings a wide range of experience and coaching qualifications to her work as an executive coach, with a particular specialisation in communication and performance issues.
Prior to coaching, Jane worked for over 20 years in the television industry where she produced and directed documentaries and current affairs programmes for the major UK networks. She is an experienced team leader and knows first-hand the pressures of working in a results-driven and rapidly changing environment.
Jane has an instinctive curiosity about the way individuals experience and respond to the world around them. She takes a pragmatic approach to coaching, quickly establishing trust and empathy with clients to facilitate open and honest conversation, whilst balancing challenge with reflection in a way that enables learning and growth.
As a Conversational Intelligence® Enhanced Skills Coach Jane offers leaders a new way of defining and understanding conversations and how they can be leveraged to build trust and achieve better outcomes. She works with clients to increase their self-awareness and understanding of the impact they have on others’ perception and behaviour, enabling them to more effectively: communicate with influence and persuasion; elicit trust; inspire action and raise their credibility and profile. A key outcome is enabling leaders to more effectively organise their time through delegation and planning, so that they are free to focus on what they do best.
Jane has worked in various sectors, including financial services, creative media, energy, public health and non profit. She also works with entrepreneurs and in international political organisations such as the UN.
Jane has a Level 7 Executive Coaching qualification with the Institute of Leadership and Management, Diplomas in Corporate & Executive Coaching, Personal Performance Coaching and Advanced Coaching from The Coaching Academy, and a Diploma in Neuro-Linguistic Programming from NLP Excellence. She is also certified to use DISC and the me2 General Factor of Creativity psychometric instruments. She receives regular supervision for her practice and subscribes to the Association for Coaching’s and European Mentoring & Coaching Council’s Global Code of Ethics.
