Alison is a highly experienced facilitator, coach and supervisor and has worked in partnership with a diverse range of individuals, teams and organisations.
With a core focus on building learning and performance, Alison coaches business leaders and professionals with significant organisational and personal transition agendas. She facilitates strategic leadership and team development interventions, and system wide culture change initiatives and engages in individual and team assessment, drawing together her psychological background and experience in Management Due Diligence work for Private Equity investors.
Alison works across sectors with global brands. Client organisations she has worked with include NATO, Central Government bodies (MoD, Cabinet Office, DEFRA, DWP), NHS based organisations, BSkyB, CitiBank, Centrica Energy, EoN, Anglo American, Samsung, Dell EMC, VMware, Grass Valley. Alison has been approved as a coach for a number of organisations, most recently, Johnson Matthey and Central Government.
Alison has significant depth of technical knowledge, underpinned by her Doctorate exploring the Employment Relationship and Organisational Design and ongoing research into effective organisational change. This offers great flexibility in how she works and the breadth of interventions and ideas she draws on. She is passionate about making a difference by facilitating wise leadership and is well known as a contributor in her professional circles. She received an award for her contribution from her professional colleagues in 2009.
As a facilitator, Alison supports teams and groups to identify their core strategic purpose and values, as well as the operational focus required to enable delivery. Her approach facilitates the development of strong working relationships and a more open, trusting, collaborative space creating a platform from which the team can build capability and perform.
As a coach, Alison acts as a catalyst to enable her clients to increase their impact and to discover and pursue their core purpose. Her clients find the confidence to deal with fundamental questions of identity, build skills and insight to enable them to ‘step up’, and to become clearer about how to leverage their potential and build capability in and through others. Her clients develop resources and abilities to coach themselves when faced with future challenges.

Alison is professionally qualified as a Chartered and Registered Psychologist, an accredited Master of Change with La Marsh & Associates, holds a foundation in counselling from Regents College (London) and is accredited to use some diverse profiling tools. She is particularly experienced with WAVE, the Hogan Series and a strategic thinking tool, the Cognitive Process Profile. She is a frequent contributor to professional texts and peer reviewed journals in her field.
