Boost Your Creativity Through Songwriting: an Extended Experience

If you enjoyed the taster session on songwriting - or if you're ready to dive in a bit deeper - this is an opportunity to work in a small group, experiment with creativity techniques and receive individual feedback on what you create. Led by coach and singer/songwriter Angela Blacklaw, we take a playful and practical approach to personal expression through song over the course of two 2-hour workshops and a personal 30-minute session with Angela.
23 – 30 November 2020

This is an opportunity to work in a small group of up to 6 people, experiment with creativity techniques and receive individual feedback on what you create. This is a playful and practical approach to personal expression through song over the course of two 2-hour workshops:

- 30 November 2020 (18:30-20:30)

and a personal 30-minute feedback session with the workshop leader. Led by coach and singer/songwriter Angela Blacklaw, we will:

  1. Explore the elements of what makes a song;
  2. Learn to generate creative ideas both collaboratively and independently;
  3. Draft song ideas based on a variety of briefs;
  4. Discover more about the nature of creativity through your experience;
  5. Learn to give and receive feedback on song ideas;
  6. Consider next steps in your journey of creativity.

No musical experience is required or expected. Whatever your age, profession or background the workshop will be stimulating, insightful and fun.

This session is fully interactive to allow for practice, discussion and feedback. We’ll provide you with downloadable resources to take away.
